It also provides tools and resources for creating a positive school culture and developing the key skills, knowledge, and dispositions necessary to support a highly effective redesign effort. Title: Report to the Wyoming Legislature on Education Governance: Laying the Foundation for a Strong Future

Description: In the summer of 2014, Cross & Joftus conducted an in-depth study of the Wyoming governance structure to provide potential alterations that would better support efficient, effective governance and, thereby, better support the education of the youth of the state. Cross & Joftus interviewed 31 representatives of 18 Wyoming stakeholder groups, including teachers, administrators, business and civic leaders, higher education leaders, former and current Wyoming Department of Education leaders, and parent advocacy groups. In addition, a brief survey concerning education governance was placed online and nearly 1500 citizens responded. This report provides the Wyoming Legislature with a wealth of information that can be used as it considers these governance issues in 2015. Read the full report here.
